Boeing, a renowned leader in aviation and defense, recognized an opportunity to centralize and standardize a unified software development platform in the cloud—the Boeing Software Factory (BSF). The BSF streamlines and standardizes the software development process for both internal teams and external customers, bringing together diverse business units operating independently. By partnering with Applied Insight (AI), and utilizing the Altitude platform, Boeing was able to deploy the BSF and achieve a consistent, standardized development platform for The Boeing Company.
Customer Challenges
The US Air Force embarked on modernizing, consolidating, and eliminating its existing Regional Data Centers and Area Processing Centers to improve legislative and mandate compliance and enhance weapon system effectiveness. AI’s Air Force customer out of Hanscom AFB had the complex task of migrating of services and applications currently in the APCs as part of the Joint Information Environment transition. This consolidation and modernization effort had multiple phased objectives requiring expert engineering and future-ready design.

The United States Courts service has a robust IT infrastructure that deals with large volumes of highly sensitive data. Our customer needed to optimize their security architecture across more than 680 Court locations and 94 judicial districts to prevent and reduce risk of cyber APTs and attacks.

Our IC agency customer needed a way to establish and sustain full cybersecurity situational awareness of their global IT infrastructure dispersed across six continents and multiple enclaves to meet the FISMA mandate for Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM). They needed a way to centrally monitor the security posture of every endpoint within their environment in near real-time, while simultaneously providing remote management, mitigation, and software deployment functionality supporting hundreds of remote IT staff.
