Applied Insight Achieves ISO 20000-1:2011 IT Service Management Certification
WASHINGTON, August 8, 2018 — Applied Insight, a market leader in solving complex technology challenges for federal government customers, announced today that it has achieved ISO 20000-1:2011 information technology service management certification.
ISO 20000-1:2011 is the international standard that recognizes quality in IT service management. The certification is the latest advance in Applied Insight’s quality assurance strategy, coming on the heels of the company’s recent appraisal at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Professional Services.

AI’s achievement of ISO 20000-1 IT service management certification represents an additional level of assurance for customers of the company’s ability to meet their requirements through recognized standards of service design, transition, delivery and improvement. It covers the company’s activities across systems engineering, IT security, cloud, IT migration, and operations and maintenance services.
Certified ISO auditor Sanjay Barthakur of ANTS Corp. conducted the audit, working in partnership with AI’s Bob Pomietto, senior quality assurance manager, and Mike Kelleher, chief operations officer. The ISO auditor certification body was GCERTI Co. Ltd.
