Applied Insight continues its legacy of support to veterans

WASHINGTON, October 15, 2021 — Applied Insight and Bridges Inc. hosted the 15th Annual Bridges Golf Tournament to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP Event ID 513/Campaign ID 3948) on Friday, Sept. 10, at the Woodlands and Diamond Ridge Golf Course in Windsor Mill, Maryland. All proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project, which aids warfighters wounded during their service to our country.

“We were thrilled to host this event with our Bridges team and coming together with industry partners and customers throughout the national security community to raise funds to benefit our veterans in need,” said Amanda Brownfield, CEO of Applied Insight. “We are thankful for the sponsors and players who joined us to create another amazing event this year to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, and look forward to seeing everyone next year!”

After this year’s golf tournament initially raised $26,000, Bridges father-son duo Chuck (C3) Faughnan and Chuck Faughnan, Sr. generously matched donations, bringing the total to just over $52,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Thank you to all the sponsors, attendees, and donors for their contributions throughout the tournament, including: Ashton-Group Services, Capital Solutions Group, JLL, Deltek, Focused Image, Gliacell, ITSM Alliance, Tower Federal Credit Union, JONY, PNC Bank, Quevera, Ascent 14, Aronson, Zavda, Evlos Technology, Comso, and Bagley & Rhody.

Backed by The Acacia Group, Applied Insight acquired Bridges earlier this year. Bridges is a Maryland-based firm specializing in cyber security, network engineering and big data analytics for the intelligence community. Together, the companies deliver powerful products and services in mission-critical areas ranging from network security to cross-domain solutions, analytics development using artificial intelligence, and end-to-end cloud infrastructure and data analytics.
