WASHINGTON, Oct. 15, 2021Applied Insight, a cloud technology leader serving federal government customers, announced today that it has been ranked for the third consecutive year by Washington Business Journal on its annual list of Fastest Growing Companies in the Greater D.C. area. The company was placed as No. 57 on this year’s list.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from the Washington Business Journal for the third consecutive year,” said Amanda Brownfield, CEO of Applied Insight. “It’s especially meaningful because it represents the results of all the hard work and success of our incredibly talented team, who work tirelessly to deliver outstanding results for our customers across the national defense community deploying transformational cloud, mission IT, data analytics and cyber security solutions. As we pursue additional opportunities to expand our team and capabilities in the year ahead, we look forward to continuing to help customers ensure the security of our nation.”

Earlier this year, Applied Insight also was recognized as No. 5 on Washington Business Journal’s list of Largest Cybersecurity Companies in the D.C. region, No. 30 among the list of Largest Government Technology Contractors, and No. 72 on its list of Largest Private Companies.

Backed by The Acacia Group, Applied Insight announced in February its acquisition of Bridges Inc., Maryland-based specialists in cyber security, network engineering, and big data analytics for the Intelligence Community. In addition to bringing complementary capabilities to Applied Insight in network security, cloud engineering, data science, cross-domain and application development, the acquisition is enabling the company to create fully end-to-end cloud lifecycle solutions in a way that is unique to the industry. Bridges also has expanded the company’s portfolio of intellectual property, strengthening its position with strategically important intelligence customers.
